This is how we've spent our first vacation of the year...building. Or, at least Tony has been building. We decided it was long overdue to finally cover (roof) our back deck so we can have some shade out there (mostly from the rain...and from the few months of sun we actually do have!) What a man! He's out there (now on day 5) by himself, building, cutting, nailing, measuring...just giving it "a go!" He admits he has no idea what he's doing...but, so far it looks amazing. I will post some after pictures. I can't WAIT to add my touch and do some outdoor designing....think...lanterns, candles, oh, the ambiance! It's going to be a little bit of serenity!!! Oh, and here's our two VERY cheeky project supervisors!
