A visit from Auntie Shell & Uncle Greeny

Auntie Shell & Uncle Greeny with a very grumpy Sis, and smitten Elijah

We took the family on a real American Tradition. A trip to the Pumpkin Patch. We all FROZE, but thankfully stayed dry. The kids had a blast on the hay ride and picking out that perfect pumkin. (Pictures of THOSE soon...there's a story there!)

Micah saying "cheeeese!" His favorite thing to say for pictures!

King and Queen of the haybale castle!
We found the PERFECT PUMPKIN!
We had such a blast with Nathan and Shell. The kids absolutely ADORE them! Elijah idolizes Uncle Greeny, it's cute to see how much he looks up to him. He's a great role model for him. It was amazing for them to have their own room here at our house...it made a huge difference for everyone. Our door is always open...we have an actual guest room now. HOORAY!
Amelia was sad when they left, she wouldn't give them hugs or even say goodbye! I later asked her why, and she said she was upset cause she wanted them to stay forever, and was sad that they weren't. It was actually cute. She thought they were going to live with us.

I'm bummed this photo turned out blurry. One of the mornings they were here, we had the most amazing red sunrises. One of those sun rises you thank God for...the colors he creates are amazing. It was truly breathtaking.
Can't wait till they come back for another visit...

So fun, I am so happy for you that you have a guest room now! Love the pumpkin patch pictures (which one did you go to?) and I LOVE that sunrise! Wow, gorgeous!
